Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd consolidated sales down 18.17% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit plunged by 72.55% As on : 04-Aug-26  21:37

Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd share price inched up 0.28% to Rs 162.5. The Company's net profit tanked by 72.55% to Rs 21.85 crore, while revenue from operations reduced 18.17% to Rs 626.79 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.78 lakh crore, rising 7.65%. It has improved by 3.06% over last one week and moving up by 12.95% in last one month while the market capitalization of Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd has marginally improved by 0.68% and 69.94% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd stood at Rs 29.26 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 18.43% year-on-year, and plunging by 47.98% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 63 crore, declining 4.56% YoY and nosediving by 30.27% sequentially. Total expenses contracted by 15.99% to Rs 588.03 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 468.51 crore, falling by 18.05% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 61.63 crore, soaring 19.95% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations declined slightly by 0.09% to Rs 2290.12 crore, while net profit saw a marginal increase of 2.17% to Rs 32.91 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 16156% to Rs 161.83 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 3.18% to Rs 49.06 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 199.37 crore in FY26, as against Rs 187.71 crore in FY25. Jay Bharat Maruti Ltd surged by 88.80% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.94% during the same period.
